Editorial process:
All contributions are refereed by expert reviewers to ensure a high standard of published papers. The editorial process adopted by the African Journal of Wildlife Research is for the editor-in-chief to receive manuscripts and assign an associate editor who appoints at least two referees. When two referee’s reports have been received, these go to the associate editor who makes an initial decision on acceptance/revision/rejection. The editor-in-chief uses the recommendations of the associate editors to make a decision.
Submission of manuscripts:
Manuscripts should be prepared according to the Instructions to Authors. Recent published articles of the journal can also be viewed for the format used by the journal. Page fees charged are $20 (R200 local) per page for SAWMA members and $40 (R400 local) per page for non-SAWMA members.
